‘Becas de Ingles‘ .
The Government of Chile, through Corfo, achieved that a group of young people linked to the activity of Tourism, workers and students, would participate in advanced English courses oriented to tourism, taught through the Chilean North American Institute of Culture.
The excellence of these courses was due principally to the choice of subjects to be taught as well as the excellence of the teachers. I emphasize the Canadian professor Miss Marianne Graff, whose teaching of good English, the interaction, her friendliness and desire to do things well managed to make these studies truly well utilized, while also leaving the name of the professorship on a high pedestal.
